It is not enough for me to just produce beautiful work; it has to mean something and to have a concept. Quoting Melanie Zefferino, Curator-in-chief, “cultural diversity and biodiversity do not exist in separate and parallel realms, but are part of a kind of co-evolutionary process that needs to be preserved and nurtured.” As my work is all about taking what has been discarded and making it precious again eARTh – Creativity & Sustainability was clearly a perfect theme for me to work to.
