Plymouth College of Art Sessions
All part of my continuing residency, which I am incredibly grateful for and highly recommend.
I have spent many happy hours in the print room. Dying, printing and experimenting with layers. Little samples to test how the screens build up over one another and I’m really pleased with the results. I have experimented with foils and flocking, devores on velvet and chiffon and transfer printing. I have re freshed my brain on fixing and using procion dyes and had the chance to watch students learning indigo dye techniques. The staff really are so helpful and supportive.
I aim to create some bespoke fabrics for upholstery or accessories and now feel I am ready to work on glass. Time is running out and I really don’t want it to end. I aim to have glass samples and finished pieces for Open studios and Drawn to the Valley’s Tavistock Show.
