Preparing for Open Studios 2011
The beginnings!
I am preparing for the Drawn to the Valley Open Studios 2011 and suddenly knew what I wanted to do next on this piece! Oil washes underneath and now this has leaves and printed thistles! Inspired by the Smoke bush in my garden who’s deep burgundy leaves are so rich and Autumnal and GMH’s poem Spring and Fall, Margaret are you grieving. It isn’t finnished yet but keep watching…….
